Grove Singers in Concert

A reminder that on the 17th December the Grove Singers from Crewe will be returning to Audlem Methodist Church.
The concert will be a Cantata based on the Dickens novel "A Christmas Carol."

This retelling through song,without narration, of charles Dickens' classic tale draws on a wide variety of styles – some old – some new – whilst incorporating well loved carols that would have been know in Victorian England. It is at the same time contemporary and rich in tradition.

The words are by Deborah McAndrew and the music by Ashley Thompson.

It promises to be a great evening and includes six soloists.
