(The website link that was here no longer works) Don't forget there's a night of great music in Audlem on Saturday February 25th when the Audlem Festival puts on another of their high quality events in the Public Hall. Yet again, this is serious quality. Headlining will be SLACK ALICE, a blues band who are to the north of the country what Climax Blues Band are to the Midlands – legendary! As Gary Hood, organiser of The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival stated: "Slack Alice are a band of great musical talent, both powerful and musically excellent with exceptional guitars and vocals. I've seen thousands of bands over the past 20 years – Slack Alice are up there with the best of them."

And the quality just goes on and on. Supporting Slack Alice will be those legends in their own lifetimes, Audlem's favourite outlaws, MAD DOG – yes, Bryn and his gang will be on another rampage through the village – make sure you don't miss a minute of it. To warm you up for the main events, the evening starts off with a footstomping mix of blues delta and country with the country's finest harmonica player, DONNY JOHNSON AND TIM DISNEY. This talented duo played Blues Alley and the Bridge during last year's Festival and gained many plaudits.

Believe it or not tickets for this amazing evening are only £8! Tickets available now from 01270 812834, 07813 820157 or 07821 614782 or simply pay on the door.

All profits from ticketed Festival events go towards the free events that take place during the main Festival each year. If you enjoy the annual Festival, and wish it to continue, you need to support events such as this – it's fantastic that Audlem gets music this good.!
