Genealogy searches proving a hit

Following Ann Tilling's February Audlem Online article on genealogy, we have received an email from Karen Renee who says: "Dear Ann Tilling. I have read the article on the Audlem web site. I started to research my family ancestry a few months ago – my mother is also doing the same research so it halves the task. As you said, it is totally absorbing. At the moment I have found that one of my great (and a lot more greats) grandparents lived in Audlem in the early 1800s. I wondered if you could tell me why the records do not give an address – most pages give a street name etc but on my ancestor the pages only say Audlem – do you think there may have been an institution or something?
