Sunday was the first day of the Canal Art Exhibition at Audlem Mill. A large number of people travelled significant distances to visit the exhibition, and to have a wander around the village and along the canal.
The Mill was very busy from mid-morning to late afternoon, and several works were sold – though there are still nearly 150 to see!. Several people commented that this was the best show yet, with a high quality of art. There are paintings by 10 of the 15 members of the Guild of Waterway Artists, and Audlem is one of only two shows nationally that they endorse each year.
This is now the sixth year of the Exhibition, another annual Audlem event putting the village on the national map of places to visit. It continues until 13 April.
