We are at it again, something a little different from the musicians in the area. We are on another mad night-out idea – The First Audlem Mash Up.

The Performance night will be held at the Scout Hall on Saturday October 19th, however, the Mash Up generator will be in action at a pre-Mash Up draw at the Lord Combermere music night on Thursday 3rd October when the invited artists will be invited to attend.

Here's how it's going to work: a group of local Singer/Songwriters and musicians who play in the Audlem area, will be added to the Mash Up generator and randomly selected to work with each other.

Two pools of singer songwriters from which the songwriter partnerships will be drawn, and a pool of musicians from which the songwriter partnerships can draw on to create the performance.

There will be two weeks to work together before putting on a unique, once in a life-time performance.

Excited yet? We are....The Performance, suggested 3 tracks, will be performed at the World Famous AudlemScout & Guide Hall music venue on Saturday 19th October 2013.

So, who's taking part you ask? The likes of singer/songwriters Dave Nettleton & Kelly Brammer of the Folkwits; Jack Marshall & Kirsty Marshall of the Jack Marshall Band; Alg Halliwell & Val Warner of Blue Cafe; Oli Ng; Ronan Haughey; Josh Walker of the Josh Walker Band; Mike Waldron of Blue Cafe/Rootless Vagabonds; Pete Marshall of The Duffey Boys & the Wash; Darren Poyzer is in the Frame; Elly Kingdon; Wayne Capper of The Wash, and musicians the likes of Alisdair Mckenzie, John Gunstone and Mark Jones, and more are confirming daily.

Tickets will be available for the October 19th Performance from Hoc's Fat Pigeon in Cheshire Street, or via email hoc19@me.com or 01270 812424
