It's the 10th anniversary of the village's first Music Festival which began in 2000 as an idea by then resident Paul Moran.
A team was assembled and set about creating a festival. Since 2000 the whole project has developed into an annual treat for music and art lovers across the country, and Audlem Festival attendance continues to grow. It's now one of the great village Festivals.
This year's Festival has been extended by one day and runs from this evening to Bank Holiday Monday, 27th – 31st May. Today, we publish details of the Thursday and Friday programmes.
All information on the Festival can be found by clicking on the link beneath the photos.

And at the Lord Combermere, also at 9.00pm, it's the Duffey Boys. Audlem's own will be helping to launch the festival with their own original songs and of course their own take on other people's songs. From Marley to Morrisey to The Jam to The Beatles and much much more. And a special guest!
8:00pm – Megan Lee
The Bridge Inn
Beautiful young singer, with a maturity of voice far greater than her years. Singing blues, the shows and the hits, accompanied on acoustic guitar by Lee Bowen.
9:00pm – Dave Nettleton
Lord Combermere
Versatile musician, singer songwriter, at the cutting edge of nu-folk, following in the footsteps of Mumford and sons, Noah and the whale, and Johnny Flynn.
9:30pm – Whiskeyhead
Shroppie Fly
Whiskeyhead are a Stoke-on-Trent based blues band with a passion for blues from the 1950's, 60's and 70's distilled and performed in their own way. www.whiskeyhead.com
9:30pm – Roydan Styles & Jason Johnston
The Bridge Inn
Solo sets from Mancunian electro acoustic popsters Roydan Styles and Jason Johnston, both teaming up at the end for a touch of madness. Roydan has been compared to the likes of Roy Harper with a touch of Zappa madness, while Jason is an accomplished singer/songwriter in the vein of Damien Rice.
