At Hoc's Fat Pigeon, we are pleased to be part of the Festival again this year, supporting local Photography in the form of Chris Gollins, and Youth Photography from two superb artists from South Cheshire College – Lizzie Ashworth and Sarah Kemball.

Chris Gollins has well been known for capturing speed in an instant, his pictures of motorbikes at the TT and various tracks around the UK are exceptional moments in time. This is, however, Chris' first ever public display of his art.

Lizzie Ashworth's passion in photography is fashion and portraiture as she loves to work with and photograph people. Other parts of her latest project looks at abstract images. Photographers who inspire Lizzie are people such as Martin Parr, David Bailey, Corrine Day, and David la Chappelle.

Sarah Kemball's passion is to explore and test the boundaries of her own creativity. Recently she's been looking at street photography and loves how impulsive and spontaneous it can be.

Photographers that have really inspired her are Bruce Gilden, Gavin Watson and William Eggleston and she has been privileged enough to see his work in galleries in New York and London.

Also over the weekend 'The Nest' at the back of the shop will more than likely see some spontaneous busking of music and poetry, why not pop in while you're around the Festival – who knows who may be there.
