Every seat was taken.....

....at the Annual Village Meeting last night.

All available seats were taken while speakers from four organisations gave a short presentation to residents.

The organisations represented were

• Connecting Cheshire – describing how the superfast broadband project is progressing.
• Wulvern Housing – the replacement for Thornton House
• Community Electricity Switch – exhorting all residents to register their interest
• ADAPT – initiatives on saving energy and growing food locally.

After the brief talks, there was free wine and nibbles on offer as the audience were able to walk round and visit the stands of these organisations and chat to the presenters.

Our local Police Community Officers also had a stand.
