Paul Huntbach has decided not to stand for Audlem Parish Council this year after 23 years on the Council. He followed his father Alderman

Arthur Huntbach on to the Council and between them they served in the region of 50 years. Unfortunately son Clive does not actually live in the Parish and cannot stand and continue the family tradition. A big thank you to Paul for serving so long and for his committed work for the village.

Clive is soon to take another truck with relief supplies to Belarus in the ex Soviet Union. He has kindly agreed to let Audlem Online know more about this trip which will make fascinating reading as it is to one of the least visited parts of Europe. There is a fund raising event on Friday, April 28, at 8:00pm with Val Warner's Jazz & Blues Trio and Jack Fiddler "The Music Man" at the Public Hall for the humanitarian convoy taking aid to the children of Chernobyl in Belarus. Tickets are available from Clive Huntbach on 01270 652018 or email:
