Elected mayor vote one way traffic so far

Recent Audlem Online Vote Polls on fireworks displays and brown wheelie bins have been closely contested affairs. So far, however, the vote on whether Crewe & Nantwich should have an elected mayor is so one-sided they may as well call off next month's official referendum. While Audlem may not be typical of the Borough, a 30 to 1 vote so far against the idea is pretty resounding. Mind you, our appeal earlier this week for someone, somewhere to come forward as a supporter was successful. There was someone – but just one so far!
