Leading up to Easter, the three village churches have again enjoyed a very ecumenical Lent. Helen Chantry has led a Lenten study course entitled 'The Word became flesh'. Simple Lent lunches have been held over the last six Sundays and have raised £600. This will be distributed to three different causes (in Africa, Asia and Europe) with which there are local links. In Holy Week there has been a Maundy Thursday meal and a Good Friday procession, both enhanced by drama from the Methodist Seekers.

The Easter edition of the Parish News has been distributed to every home. There you will find further details of Easter occasions. On Easter day each village church will hold Easter services at which you would be very welcome. There is a seasonal article on Easter here at Audlem Online. It's available from the home page.

Further details and photographs of much of the above can be seen at www.audlemmethodistchurch.org.uk (The website link that was here no longer works) .
