Don't forget – memories before PoP

Before the Party gets under way on July 4th, the History Society is inviting you to the Scout & Guide Hall (10.30am to 12 noon) to come and have free tea, coffee and biscuits in exchange for sharing with us some of your memories and treasured photos, newspaper cuttings, programmes, even clothing and souvenirs etc.

So please look out your old memorabilia ready for Saturday. They do not have to be very old. Yesterday is now 'history'.

Theme – growing up

The theme we are concentrating on this time is 'Growing up in or around Audlem' and we would welcome anything from your grandparents, parents, selves, children, grandchildren etc. which might fit into this category.

There will be cameras and scanners in the hall so that you do not have to lose sight of any item. When copied they will probably be put on the Archive section of the Audlem website so that all can see them. There may also be voice recorders in case an interesting discussion about 'the old days' gets going.
