Coop closure in December

I recently received my member's offer booklet and inside was a letter saying that the Co-op had made a loss this year and there would therefore be no shares for customers, which is fair enough.

However, they very kindly offer 10% back when you show your card between 18th November and 15th December.

Mmm I thought, our Co-op is closed for the first week in December. I contacted them via email to point this out. I received an email telling me they would look into it.

The next day I received a reply saying that unfortunately they could not extend the offer but could use it any other co-op during that time. I thought other members may be interested to know this.
