Christmas tree collections in January

Suzanne Baxter writes: "Audlem Scout and Guide Hall Committee will once again be collecting and recycling real Christmas trees this year. It will take place on the 3rd & 4th of January 2009. We had a tremendous response last year and would like to thank everyone for supporting us.

"We ask that you kindly put your tree out in a visable position with a donation of £2.50 before 10am on the above dates. There will once again be a champagne draw so if your name and a contact telephone number could be placed in a small bag with your donation and attached to your tree we would be very grateful. We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas."
