Chip shop hit by fire

Audlem's popular Fish & Chip shop in Cheshire Street is closed until further notice following a fire yesterday lunchtime. Two fire tenders attended the scene although we understand no-one was hurt.

The news of the closure will be a disappointment to the many regular customers in the village and those passing through. As soon as we have news that the damage has been repaired and the shop is back to normal we will publish it on Audlem Online.
