FireChoir to take centre stage in headline concert at Warrington Parr Hall

The UK's only fire and rescue service choir takes centre stage in September for their debut concert.
For one night only, on Friday September 30th, Parr Hall, Warrington is the venue for 'An Evening with Cheshire FireChoir and Friends' in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

Confirmed to appear, amongst other friends made on the choir's musical journey, are Manchester Airport Choir and tenor Matt Bond. The Airport choir appeared in series one of BBC's Sing While You Work and Matt has recently returned from supporting Sir Tom Jones on his recent Sir Tom Jones Live tour.
The FireChoir was first seen on national television in the second season of the BBC's Sing While You Work. Since making it to the series final in 2014 the choir has gone from strength to strength, with guest spots at venues across the UK as well as being invited to perform at the world famous Carnegie Hall and at the Ground Zero Memorial in New York earlier this year.

Choir chair is Watch Manager Phil Marke. He said: "We are so excited to be holding our own concert. 2016 is proving to be a real rollercoaster ride for us, with our unforgettable trip to New York in January, recording our signature tune The Rising (to be released online on 2nd September) and now, with the announcement of our first headline concert on September 30th.

"The icing on the cake is that both the song release and the concert will benefit a charity very close to all our hearts, The Fire Fighters Charity, which enhances quality of life for both serving and retired firefighters and their families."
This is a concert for the whole family to enjoy. To experience a great evening of song buy tickets from Parr Hall, Warrington on 01925 442345. They cost £10 (£7.50 concessions) or £11/£8.50 if booked online through Parr Hall's website www.pyramidparrhall.com/whats-on/.
