A Garden Party

On Sunday afternoon the volunteers from the charity shop , got together for a more relaxing event, a garden party .

Everyone brought food and drink and for once we were able to sit and chat together , something we can't do on busy Saturdays.

The other big reason for the get together was to give our love and best wishes to one of the stalwarts of the shop, Carole Smith, who sadly is leaving Audlem to be nearer to her two daughters and the excitement of twin grandsons, expected in September. Carole has been a volunteer at the charity shop for over ten years and previously worked in Boots so is a well known and respected member of Audlem community. She was presented with a beautiful plant and a voucher to spend on whatever she chooses. We will all miss her very much.

Don t forget, the charity shop is open every Saturday from 9-4 raising funds for local health charities, which we can only do with your support.
