AudlemOnline last week received an enquiry about Audlem cemetery. It said: "Would it be possible please for you to furnish me with information regarding Audlem Cemetery.
"My wife's grandmother, was buried there in approximately 1950 (first hand knowledge as a very young child) but as we are unable to find any references to her death via Ancestry.co.uk, we wonder whether any publication concerning details of the interred in Audlem Cemetery are
available for purchase?"
Naturally, we forwarded the query to Ralph Warburton who was soon in touch with the family and provided even more information than they were expecting. This was the family's response:
"And a Very Good Morning to you Mr Warburton. Well, what can I say, Wonderful, springs to mind! Not only have you found my wife's Grandmother, but found her Mother as well! This will enable us to visit. Bless you, you have made an elderly lady very happy, if not a bit shell-shocked with the news of her Mother! Thank you so much for your very kind help in this matter."
