(The website link that was here no longer works) Two delightful village carol concerts have raised £803 for a good cause. On Tuesday and Wednesday evening this week, the Methodist Church was full of carollers. An augmented church choir (conductor Ann Marshall, organist and accompanist Jenny Collis-Smith) sang a number of items. This year's guest soloists were local music trio: Carl Brunsdon, John Gunstone and Val Warner. Carols and other festive music in a variety of styles were greatly enjoyed. The audience played its part – singing and giving enthusiastically. The excellent sum of £803 was raised for the Methodist Church's children's charity, NCH.
