Buerton contributes to the Annexe

£1,000 from Buerton

The APHAx (Audlem Public Hall Annexe) Committee is delighted to announce that Buerton Parish Council has voted to donate £1,000 towards the cost of the new Public Hall Annexe.

BLF grant over £550,000

The finishing touches are being put to the Big Lottery Fund bid for a grant worth over £550,000. The APHAx committee has to find about £100,000 to add to this, and so far some £78,000 has been promised (all but a £10,000 loan as hard cash).

Opening Spring 2017

If all goes well the final go-ahead should be given in December or January, a contractor selected by March, building started in April and open for business in Spring 2017.

So the news from Buerton is another very welcome step forward.
