Brookfield Golf Club Future

It has been known for some time that the Reade family, owners of Brookfield golf club, have been in discussion concerning the sale of all or part of the club.Inevitably with a lot of members and customers this has created a good deal of interest.

The family have indicated these discussions are ongoing but hope to make an announcement soon on the future of the club. However, they are very concerned at the speculative statements being made locally and in other parts of the media.

AudlemOnline understands from a family member that reports that they are in discussions with a local developer to build a large number of houses on the site are not true and these misleading speculations are harming the club and staff.

The family would be grateful if this speculation did not happen and are seeking to make a statement as soon as possible.

We sincerely hope a way forward can be found, because thanks to Alan Reade and family the club has been a tremendous asset to the area both as a golf club and functions venue and a great home for Audlem and District Probus Club.
