Olivia ("Liv") Ball is a student at University Centre Reaseheath.

Her study is looking into the public's perception of Breed Specific Legislation and whether the current government legislation is effective.

She has created an on-line questionnaire which she would be grateful if AoL readers could look at and complete.

Her dissertation is scheduled for completion in March. so the end of February is the deadline to complete the questionnaire,

The link is to a questionnaire I have created for the purpose of data collection for my third year university dissertation study. I study at University Centre Reaseheath. I am working towards by BSc (Hons) Canine Clinical Behaviour.
The study is looking into the public's perception of Breed Specific Legislation and whether the current government legislation is effective. The title of the study is as follows:
"How aware are people of Breed Specific Legislation laws, and so people perceive these laws as an effective form of protection against 'dangerous dogs'?"

In order to collate data and find out the opinions and understanding of the public I have created the questionnaire which consists of two sections. Section A allows me to gather an understanding of how people perceive dangerous dogs and give experiences with dogs they perceive to be dangerous or pose a risk to society. Section B takes a closer look at the current legislation. Various statements are given explaining the legislation and participants are able to give their opinions and whether they agree or disagree to these regulations.

Information remains anonymous and once the data collection and dissertation project has been completed all information will be destroyed.

The questionnaire can be found here.
