Wednesday Wanderers Walk 2nd Sept

The next Wednesday Wanderers Walk is on the 2nd September, and will be led, on this occasion, by Tony Crowther. The meeting time is 1.50 p.m. at Hankelow Green, where you can park your vehicles. This is a chance to wander in our neighbouring village and surrounding area for a change of scenery. Hope you enjoy the walk and see you next time.

Tony s Walk A round trip of approximately 4 miles from Hankelow Green via Woolfield Farm, Broomfield House, then across to Bridgemere Lane near Foxes Bank Farm. The walk returns via Birchall Moss and Bridge to Hankelow Hall Drive, and back to The Green.

We walk on Lanes, Field Footpaths and some pavements. There are no steep hills but several stiles.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
