ADAPT Saturday Market. Saturday 29th August

ADAPT Saturday Market. Saturday 29th August
What a welcome the rain has been, in a flash our arid desert yellow excuse for a grassland has been transformed into a green meadow, mowers are having to be coaxed back into life. Of course the weeds have surged ahead as well. Back to the good old days.
There is still time to sow and plant and the seedlings will catch up . We have lots of plants to chose from.
The market will be on as usual this week and we might have to shelter under the gazebo. We will have runner, tomatoes, courgettes, damsons, apples . We have free range eggs, honey. and even veg and fruit turned into jam and preserves. such as Tomato Chutney, Beetroot Relish, Victoria Plum Jam, Apple and Elderberry Jam, Seedless Blackberry and Apple Jam & Redcurrant Jelly
Cakes will be Apple Crumble Cake, Lemon Drizzle and Empire biscuits
If anyone has any empty jam jars please bring them along to us on Saturday as we are desperate to refill them.
10am till noon at The Lord Combermere Car Park.
For those that cant make it to our stall on Saturday, please come along to the Audlem fete on Sunday afternoon and find us, ADAPT will be there focusing on plants and Hatherton Honey will also have a presence.
