Audlem Mill Limited

Ralph Warburton has talked on Audlem Online about his copy of Bob Cartwright's memoirs. We now have a small stock of the books for sale at Audlem Mill. It is not available anywhere else -- it was published by Peter Silvester at Audlem Mill. Part of the sale price of each book sold will be donated to Cancer Research, as requested by Bob's widow, Helen.

The wording on the back of the book reads:

"Although born in the south of England, Bob Cartwright (1945 -- 2018) moved to and was educated on the Wirral -- he was, to all intents and purposes, a Scouser, and proud of it. Indeed, his first job after leaving Southampton University was in Liverpool not far from where he was brought up in Bebington, but later jobs took him to many parts of England. Bob worked for a variety of corporate companies, including Rolls-Royce Motors, British Nuclear Fuels at Sellafield, and Bass. He was the consummate PR/promotions professional, and an extremely charismatic individual.

After Bob retired from paid employment, he carried on working -- setting up what proved to be one of the best and most successful village websites in Britain this website, and working on Parish plans and village promotional activities. Bob wrote and typed the manuscript of this book, finishing it shortly before his far too early death in 2018."

Come quickly; there are only a few copies of the book.
