Blackberry Fair on Saturday

Organisers are hoping for bright sunshine at an outdoor street fair in Whitchurch this Saturday.

It's the sixth year running for the Blackberry Fair Day on October 5th with a host of street entertainment, competitions and music

Poetry, theatre and even bog snorkelling are on the list of activities for this year's fair which starts at 10am.

Live music, buskers, street food, crafts and workshops are also on offer and it is all topped off with the Old Stinker Cheese Race, Tanglish Chutney Competition and the Carnival of Plenty parade.
