Beware Nuisance Calls

My mother recently took a phone call from an organisation claiming to enable a system to prevent nuisance calls.

They also offered to discuss fuel bills etc but needed to make an appointment to visit.

After googling the number, I discovered they are a financial advisory scheme. Needless to say I've contacted them to block them.

I just wanted readers to realise that these may become more common as a way of entry to selling rather than over the phone and to make vulnerable elderly neighbours aware.
