Some weeks ago I was asked by a local amateur Theatrical group if they could use my 1937 Ruby in a comedy film they are making. The script has been written by one of their members who is a member of the village community.

I understand the film is to be titled DOWNTURN Abbey and is a spoof of the obvious.
I spent a very pleasant day at a local Hall as my Ruby became one of the stars.
I asked them to send me one or two photos which I could send to the club magazine.
They eventually send me two Video clips and I have successfully managed to separate two stills which I thought may be of interest. I am expecting more which may show part of the setting.
The final venue was at the local cemetery. This does leave me guessing as to the remainder of the content of the film.
They did say that these would be sent later rather than sooner.

The car did also feature in support of our village in the Channel 4 program ' The Village of the Year ',During 2017.
The Ruby put up an outstanding show, but the program makers portrayal of the Village was pathetic.
