it is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of local resident, Ben Clark in the early hours of 5th August.
Ben was well known in the village for the contributions he made to the community since moving to Audlem from Adderley.
He was an active member of the Audlem and District Probus club for some 20yrs, committee member and held several key positions including President. He was a keen supporter of ADAS and regularly volunteered help during planting sessions etc.
Most recently one of Ben's major achievements was being the driving force that established the GYM in the new Annexe, which has turned out to be so successful. Ben had always been a very keen sportsman – rowing, bowling, running, skiing when he could, walking, snooker and fitness training
Ben and Sue moved to Audlem from Adderley where he was Chairman of the Village Hall Committee for some 15 years
He will be sorely missed by all his friends and especially by Sue, his wife, and daughters Debbie, Julie and Helen
We will provide more information on funeral arrangements when available
