So, Monday has arrived, Engineer has been and he has had a Monday morning and three hours to find out that out phone line is only linked to the BT building in Vicarage Lane, not to any of the boxes which host the Fibre links.
On my reckoning that's two Engineers plus the might of BT infrastructure that say we are connected to fibre, and one Engineer to find out that we are not, and nor will be connected to fibre.
It will take another 24 hours to get reconnected back to Standard Broadband from that huge building at the bottom of our garden, maybe though we should see an improvement in speed due to the sheer fact that we may be the only ones connected to it.
If you are wondering if BT will cable us to box 1 or 5 in the village where the fibre is, apparently not for the foreseeable as there are higher priorities in the towns waiting to be connected.
So, now for the battle over the bill and whether or not we will get a refund!
