Our biggest regrets are usually not for the things we have done but for the things we haven't done, so we are hoping that AOL readers who have never attended a classical performance will be stimulated into forgoing the usual Sunday night TV and come along to the Audlem
Voices Concert this evening at 7.00pm in St James's Church.

Human beings are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, but are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so, so fellow readers, here's your chance!

The amount of blood, sweat and tears, generally classified as rehearsals, endured by thirty members of our village with the sole aim of bringing pleasure to all of us deserves a good turnout, so let's not disappoint?

George Frideric Handel's Messiah is one of the most famous and widely shared pieces of music in history and together, the music and subject of Handel's 'Messiah' reaches the sublime status of great art.

Audlem Voices men will be sporting new bow ties and the ladies new scarves, and if we
are lucky they may also be dressed in other attire!

Jenny Collis-Smith our Musical Director will be conducting with Treona Holden returning as our
Accompanist. Our soloists for the evening will be Jane Johnson (Soprano), Pamela Clarke (Alto), Philip Cartwright (Tenor) and the Reverend Lars Peterson (Bass).

So please do come along. Tickets will be sold on the door and children in full time education
will be allowed in free.
