An Audlem resident is a member of the Market Drayton works syndicate that's scooped a massive win on the European Lottery. Thirty three workers from Palethorpe's won £6,750,278.40 and sprayed each with champagne as the celebrations started after Camelot presented them with the cheque today. The Audlem resident, who must remain anonymous but is pictured today in the Shropshire Star, is said to have an individual win in excess of £200,000. As news of the win went round the village, many a glass was raised in Audlem's pubs last night to congratulate the lucky winner.
