Regular readers will recall that agreement was reached with BW last month that the permanent moorings in Audlem will remain. A number of permanent mooring sites that were under threat will now be re-let.
These sites are the Audlem Town Pound (running south from Lock 12) and Audlem North Pound, between Locks 13 and 14.
Fifteen permanent moorings in the village are already let but about five more, depending on boat lengths, will now be let gradually. Spot dredging work will be required for some of the moorings which have silted up while empty.
