The Police have contacted Audlem Online to say that an Audlem resident has recently had his credit card 'cloned' and it was subsequently used to make a number of fraudulent transations. It is not known how this cloning was achieved, but one common method is to fix what is known as a skimmming device to a cashpoint in order to obtain card
details. PC Ken Maple suggests you be aware of this when using cash points, and report any supicious
looking additons or modifications to the machine.
