Audlem Lass trip times

A reminder that the new boat service on the canal, Audlem Lass will be operating today and tomorrow from 11.00am until 5.30pm.

The service runs between Lock 15 at the bottom of the Audlem Locks and the Overwater Marina. All profits go to the lifeboat charity, the RNLI with a suggested donation of £1 a trip and 50p for children.

So far, 1008 passenger trips have been taken since the service started on 22nd April and £822 raised for the RNLI. In addition, school trips have been popular during the week with pupils and teachers on visits to Monks Hall Farm and Overwater Marina.

For those wanting only a short walk as part of todays' Audlem Big Walk, it's a 1.5 mile walk to the marina via Bridge 80 with the option of returning to Lock 15 on Audlem Lass.
