Audlem Lass ready and willing

The Audlem Lass is ready for the new sailing season, starting on Good Friday, March 29th, plying her now traditional voyage from Overwater Marina to Lock 15 and back.

The Lass has had a final lick of paint, the canal has been swept clear of icebergs and the coxswains have completed their navigation refresher course so there should be no danger of getting lost between Lock 15 and the Marina.

The first voyage will be at 10.30am on Good Friday from the Marina to Lock 15. Then services will run on the hour and at half-past from the Marina and at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour from Lock 15. The last sailing will leave Lock 15 at 5.15pm.

This timetable will be followed every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday until the October half-term.

The whole venture is run by volunteers and all proceeds go to support the RNLI.
