Audlem in Canal magazine

Audlem features twice in the May issue of the magazine Waterways World, just published.

There is an article about the Canal Art Exhibition which is open at Audlem Mill until Saturday week, with about 150 paintings, linocut prints and photographs by about 18 artists, together with a photograph of Peter Silvester with one of the artists, boatbuilder Ian Kemp of Stourbridge.

And there is a three page feature about Pete and Jane Marshall, who took their Day Star theatre company, based at The Old Stables by the bottom lock in Audlem, all round the canal system, putting on plays for over 20 years at canalside venues.

In Audlem, they are perhaps better known for organising and performing at musical events, and their cafe theatre performances at the Scout & Guide Hall.
