The Holiday at Home, organised by Audlem Methodist Church, has now finished. The final few days were spent being creative, being inspired and being entertained.
Friday was largely a craft day, with painting, embroidery, jewellery-making and flower arranging on the menu. Saturday morning saw visits to local gardens and, on Saturday evening, the holidaymakers were entertained by Ruth Moore Williams from Llangollen. An end-of-holiday service on Sunday morning brought the week to a close.
The Holiday at Home has gone extremely well. Lots of help was given, lots of fine weather was enjoyed and lots of fun was had. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed.
