Audlem Holiday at Home

Wednesday and Thursday have delivered more activity and entertainment to the holidaymakers on Audlem's Holiday at Home.

Wednesday began with some gentle sporting activity. A talented team of experts helped the holidaymakers with some snooker and some indoor and outdoor bowls. After a church service at noon, there was more food and then more entertainment. A class from Audlem School kindly came and sang, and a group of Scottish Country Dancers from Nantwich came and danced. For those who hadn't eaten too much, there was even the chance to join in with one or two of the gentler reels. On Thursday, a coach transported the holidaymakers to Llandudno. A day by the seaside delivered sun and sea air, a bit of paddling, and lots more food.

With two and a bit days to go, the holidaymakers are standing up remarkably well. Today (Friday) is a gentler day of craft and creativity.
