AUDLEM FIRST RESPONDERS

May we please sincerely thank Audlem First Responders, who came to Audlem Mill on Friday morning shortly after we dialled 999 following the collapse of an elderly man, a boater, in our shop. The lady arrived minutes after our call, and attended the unconscious patient and carried out various checks. It was about twenty minutes or so later than an emergency ambulance arrived, having been despatched from the Stoke area. After further checks, the ambulance took the man to Leighton Hospital. Happily, he was discharged a few hours later and transported back to Audlem.

Clearly, the professional input of the First Responder helped very much to ensure a good outcome, and we are so glad that we have this critical service in our village. Our most sincere "thank you".
