Audlem FC in Crewe FA Vase today

Today we face our first ever cup tie in the Crewe FA Vase competition.

Our opponents are Crewe Town F C, a team of some repute. This game will be refereed by Kevin Crump. And in the event of a draw at the end of normal time, extra time will be played – with a penalty shoot out if no winner at that point.

All very new to us and some of the younger payers will face a hard test of their drive and durability – not to mention the older legs amongst us.

As an aside our average age of players is 24.4 years . We are up against much older and more experienced opposition. But the desire to win is there and we aim to do our very best.
