Aston & District W.I. August 2021 Report

The first meeting of Aston and District W.I. took place at Broomhall Chapel on Friday 6th August 2021. After 18 months of lockdown, it was just wonderful to be able to get together as a group and celebrate. Our President Rosemary Lomas gave us a very warm and sincere welcome back. Much talking and laughter could be heard as we enjoyed an afternoon tea provided by our four Birthday Girls. Many, many thanks to Rosemary, Heather, Irene and Sue for all their hard work and generosity.

During lockdown members were sent lots of quizzes and craft things to do and prizes were given out for poems, photographs, bookmarks, logo design and quizzes.

Our next meeting will take place on the Friday 3rd September at Aston Church at 7.15pm. A talk called "Painting for Everyone" will be given by Gill Adlington.

Please come along and join our merry ladies, as Visitors and New Members are always very welcome.
