A Thank you from ASET

Now that our two summer events are over ASET would like to take this opportunity to thank volunteers, sponsors, advertisers, audiences and spectators for your valuable support this year.

Party on the Park

Despite the inclement weather our party-goers once again turned out in huge numbers to enjoy a spectacular evening of musical entertainment. We have received some wonderful feedback both from the audience and the performers. This event takes an enormous amount of manpower to set up and dismantle over a period of three days and would not be possible to stage without our loyal volunteers who turn up to help us in all sorts of weather

Festival of Transport

This year we received a record number of entries and were privileged to have some very special vehicles which attracted thousands of spectators to the village. This event is a combined effort between Hankelow and Audlem and we rely heavily upon the expertise of the Hankelow team who register and park the vehicles prior to the procession to Audlem. The parade itself is a logistical challenge but the sterling work of local people who volunteer as marshals ensures the event runs smoothly.

With ever increasing costs it is becoming more and more difficult to raise funding for these events but we have managed to keep Party on the Park tickets at the same price for the last few years and the Festival of Transport still remains a free event for everyone.

Although we value all our sponsors and advertisers, a special thank you must go to EPG Fire and Security who have been the main sponsors of the Party on the Park for the last 9 years.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Cheshire East for their continued financial support of our village events

Audlem Special Events Team would not exist without your enthusiastic support over the past 16 years. We hope to see you all at the annual Audlem Firework Display on Sunday, 6th November.
