ARS walk on Saturday

Andy Davidson of ARS, the Audlem Ramblers Society, writes: "This month's walk on Saturday 9th August is a traverse of the Aran in Snowdonia. This is a serious walk of about 9 miles and involves nearly 2700 ft of ascent over mountainous terrain. As the walk is linear, we do need to leave a car at the end so an indication as to who is coming would be appreciated."

Meet at Audlem car park for a 7.30 am start. If the weather looks iffy, a lower alternative route will be found. If you are not a member of ARS but fancy joining this walk, please contact Andy at
