Please be aware of an old, scam which appears to be doing the rounds in the local area.
Today, I received a call from 'David', a gent with an Indian accent saying he was from Tech Helpline. He was accompanied by his friend Justin, also Indian sounding, with a Canadian twist.
Their aim is to gain access to your PC, using the likes of Team Viewer, Let Me In etc. As much as they deny it, they will try to convince you to pass on your bank details, by trying to frighten you into believing you have a high number of viruses on your pc, and they are the people to fix it for you.
This link probably explains what goes on better than I have:

My reason, as well as today's phone call, for passing this on, is due to me being aware of an identical call taking place in the last two weeks.
The receivers of this call live in Aston, and sadly they fell for it. I'd hate to think that these people get the better of anyone else. Thank you.
