On Friday and today, we cleared out the last of the tulips and planted up the beds and the troughs with around 2000 plants.

Today, we will place the hanging baskets in the village and from Monday onwards the other tubs and troughs will be put in place, all by the executives of ADAS and Audlem In Bloom.

We have received excellent support financially by you, the residents, to our envelope appeal – the best ever in fact – and the local businesses, with one or two exceptions, have given us their very welcome support as sponsors. These will be , as promised, listed in our ADAS notice board in the centre of the village.

We thank all most sincerely for this excellent vote of confidence in the works we do for the village. We do hope you will enjoy the fruits of our labours throughout the coming months.
Do remember that our big open garden weekend is June 22/23rd with a great list of marvellous gardens for all to see and enjoy.

Tickets from the Post Office and the Newsagents .

Acting chairman

(PS: I do have some tulip plants free to any one who would like them. Just text me or call me on 07813 820157)
