ADAS bulb and tree planting

Last weekend, as part of the Vibrant Village efforts to further enhance the beauty of the village, ADAS planted masses of daffodils along the canal bank. Four members of the ADAS committee did the work as, despite an appeal for help, further volunteers failed to step forward.

There are now plans to plant some 36 trees along the canal bank- come rain or shine this weekend – and help would be appreciated from any caring volunteers. Please call Ralph Warburton on 812025 if you would like to help.

In addition to the canalside bulbs, over the last few days ADAS has also planted around 2000 spring bedding plants in the troughs and flower beds to give a splash of colour in April/May. This fine effort by the Amenities Society will help enormously to keep the village "Vibrant".
