The third and last of ADAPT Energy Group's short season of talks on domestic renewable energy takes place this Wednesday (4th February) at the Baptist Church Hall at 7.30pm.

This month, ADAPT member Alan Draper will give a talk on heat pumps, what they are and on what principles they operate. He will be revealing the heat pump undressed with a little bit on the technology as well.

Heat sources, design and performance will be covered and some indicative costs to buy and install. All this will be followed by discussion of an example that can't be missed.

The presentation, including questions, is expected to last no more than an hour, and all are welcome, whether ADAPT members or not.

The talk should be of interest to anyone interested in considering the application of this renewable energy to their dwelling, and also those just interested to learn more about it.
