ADAPT cycle ride on Sunday

The next ADAPT cycle ride is planned for this Sunday, 22nd October.

A short ride suitable for beginners, families, those returning to cycling or other cyclists just looking for a short trip.

This time we will follow route L2 from the ADAPT cycle map to Cox Bank, Wilkesley, Calverhall and Ightfield. Once out of Audlem, this is on scenic back lanes.

Our plan is to meet outside the Bridge Inn at 10.30am and set off by 10.40am, which should allow us to arrive in Calverhall for a refreshment stop at The Olde Jack, before returning to Audlem via Ightfield.

The ride is all 'on-road' unless riders prefer to try the towpath, and covers under 20 miles. All ages are welcome, but children under 18 should be
accompanied by an adult.

If the weather is seriously inclement at the start time then a decision will be made to postpone or go ahead with the ride.
