2014 Audlem Events leaflet

For the past three years, the Audlem Community Projects committee, part of the Parish Plan team, has produced a 12-page folded leaflet promoting all the major annual events held in the village.

The team producing it is now looking for a business or organisation that might like to sponsor next year's leaflet. The 2013 leaflet was kindly sponsored by the Overwater Marina.

The annual leaflet also includes details and a map of the local shops, pubs, cafes and take-aways plus copy describing Audlem and all its attractions. The businesses have increased significantly in the past year making an update for 2014 all the more important.

The copy was totally rewritten last year focussing on the Events and village attractions whereas it had previously concentrated on local walks. It will be completely rewritten again in 2014 to cover:

• the village winning its Championship Best Kept Award for all of Cheshire, plus other awards
• all the new and existing shops, pubs, cafes etc
• the major events which will also feature in their own panel
• the map and lists of businesses will be updated
• new photos will be used.

8,000 copies are produced and are then distributed by volunteers to Tourist Information Centres and local businesses where they prove a popular read.

Printing and design costs will be £796 next year, the same price as in 2013. Photography, copywriting etc is by volunteers. If a business or organisation would like to sponsor this year's leaflet, with promotional space in the leaflet, or would like more information, please email:
